FACILITIES
INFRASTRUCTURE:
Spacious classrooms devoted to intense academics, fully equipped laboratories, a library with comprehensive and vast collection of the latest books, journals and internet facility, all set in a tranquil atmosphere.
LIBRARY:
Our library has a wide source of books, international nursing journals and other periodicals and audio visual materials. We also provide the students with previous exam papers, reference materials, newspapers which help them to update their knowledge. We have International Nursing journals, E-journals and Helinet facility. Every week we assign compulsory library hours to the students.
LABORATORIES:
Our institute has modern Laboratories with sophisticated equipment for clinical practice. We have separate laboratories which include Fundamentals of Nursing, Community Health, Nursing, Midwifery, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Nutrition & Bio-chemistry as per the INC Syllabus.
HOSTEL & FOOD
The institution provides a native environment within the campus. There are separate Hostels for both boys and girls. As the Girls Hostel is situated within the campus, the students are safe and secure. The rooms are spacious with common bathrooms and toilets. They are provided both Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food. We also have separate rooms for Parents during their visiting hours.
CLINICAL FACILITIES:
Vinaya Hospital is a 150 bedded hospital equipped with the best of facilities. There are specialized visiting consultants for all departments with 24 hours Emergency treatment. The hospital has a computerized laboratory, 3 fully equipped modern operation theatres, 20-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a modern dental care unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with Photo Therapy, and there is a steady stream of patients for the students to get first-hand intensive experience.
Students also get additional speciality postings at affiliated hospitals. They are:- District Government Hospital, Udupi (350 beds), Taluk Government Hospital, Kundapur (150 beds), Manjunatha Hospital, Kundapur (100 beds), Mahesh Hospital, Brahmavar (80 beds), A. V. Baliga Hospital, Udupi (80 beds), Dr. N. R. Acharya Memorial Hospital, Koteshwara (100 beds).
